Lodge of Unity Embelem

1) A prayer Scroll


A prayer scroll wrapped in a bound bundle of corn stems.  While each corn stem is weak by itself when wrapped together round a prayer scroll, all stand firm in unity.


2) Wisdom, Strength & Beauty


All Masons are taught of Wisdom, Strength and Beauty,  'for there should be Wisdom to contrive, Strength to support and Beauty to adorn”.  These virtues are said to help make good men better.


3) The quotation


Ecce quam bonum et quam iucundum habitare fratres in unum.


Simply translated from Psalm 133:


'How good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!'
